Anuksha and Ranveer play a couple of college students who after graduating from school decide to take on the wedding planning industry by starting their own company. The film follows their business tribulations and eventual romance.

Anuksha plays Shruti Kakkar, a girl from a middle-class family who is very ambitious and motivated. Ranveer portrays Bittoo Sharma, a boy who focuses less on business and is more interested in hanging out with his buddies.

The two fresh entrepreneurs go through ups and downs as they take on the topsy turvy world of wedding planning in New Delhi, but they end up learning from their mistakes and get to know each other in the process!

The coming of age comedy boasts a soundtrack composed by music duo Salim-Sulaiman and features music that will attract audiences to theaters. There is a song for each mood, all music styles, and the lyrics are all rich. Yash Raj has been in a slump with recent releases but we expect great things from the movie.

The makers of Band Baaja Baaraat have been accused of copying the 2001 Hollywood flick The Wedding Planner with Matthew McConaughey and Jennifer Lopez but the rumors were soon laid to rest by Yash Raj Films as this movie doesn’t deal with a wedding planner who falls in love with her client, but a couple of entrepreneurs who fall in love with each other while working as wedding planners.

Band Baaja Baaraat hits theaters on December 10.
