Break Ke Baad was shot in Delhi, Bombay and Mauritius and tells the story of two childhood sweethearts who go on a break in order to find out how much they really love each other. They have known each other since the age of four and have dated since they were 15.

Imran's character Abhay Gulati does his best to convince Aalia Khan, played by Deepika, that he loves her very much, but she is not one to be easily persuaded as she is more focused on becoming an actress. Abhay is not sure of what he wants to do; only that he wants to be with Aalia. Things don’t get better when Aalia decides to go to Australia to study. Will they find their way back to love? 

The coming-of-age flick's soundtrack features music by composer duo Vishal-Shekhar. Songs on the soundtrack include "Adhoore" by Vishal Dadlani and Alyssa Mendonca, "Dhoop Ke Makaan" by Shekhar Ravjiani and Sunidhi Chauhan, "Dooriyan Hai Zaroori" by Monica Dogra and Vishal Dadlani, "Main Jiyoonga" by Nikhil D'Souza, "Jee Le Bachelor" by Vishal Dadlani and Dominique Cerejo. "Ajab Lehar" is performed by Neeraj Shridhar with Shekhar Ravjiani, Vishal Dadlani and Rhys D'Souza as backup singers.

This is the first time that Deepika Padukone and Imran Khan work together on a movie, but the couple has already received rave reviews for their on-screen chemistry. Break Ke Baad releases on November 26.
