Stars like Akshay Kumar, Ritesh Deshmukh, R. Madhavan, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor, Salman Khan, Sushmita Sen, Mallika Sherawat, Akbar Khan and Arshad Warsi will make a cameo appearance.
Since Jackky Bhagnani’s last movie didn’t fare too well at the box-office, Vashu Bhagnani asked his celebrity friends to help him out and make a cameo in F.A.L.T.U in order to create some buzz.
The romantic flick was shot mainly in Mauritius. The movie tells the story of a student, portrayed by Jackky Bhagnani, who can’t get into college so he decides to open his own university.
The plot borrows from Steve Pink’s 2006 Hollywood film Accepted with Justin Long, Jonah Hill, Adam Herschman, Lewis Black and Blake Lively about a lazy high school student who fails to get in to a university and sets up the South Harmon Institute of Technology.
The comedy is supposed to be a satire on India’s current education system and if it is directed by a choreographer, Jackky Bhagnani insists it is not a dance film.
"Even though F.A.L.T.U is being directed by a choreographer, it is not a film about dance or a film where unnecessary dance sequences are incorporated. It is lot more than that," Jackky told IANS.
"It's a very different and real film where a bunch of youngsters do things their way and show the world that even though they don't follow the age old methods, they can still do things the right way. Now I know that people want to see closer to life characters and believable scripts. Hence my next film is very realistic and relatable, "he added.
F.A.L.T.U hits theaters on April 1.
