The buzz is on! The latest rumors out of tinseltown is that "Slumdog Millionaire" Freida Pinto has signed on to become the next Bond girl! Wow!

First she bagged a role in Woody Allen’s new flick "You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger," and now she is rumored to be the next star in a Bond movie?

Sounds like the L’Oreal model is making it big! After starring in the Oscar winning box-office hit "Slumdog Millionaire," Freida kept herself busy shooting Woody Allen’s new movie alongside Hollywood stars like Naomi Watts, Josh Brolin, Anthony Hopkins, Antonio Banderas and Anupam Kher.

She also stayed close to on and off screen romance Dev Patel as the two have been spotted shopping and attending parties all over London, LA and New York! They two love birds even spent a romantic holiday in San Diego, holding hands and visiting a local zoo.

Well now it looks like it’s back to work for the pretty actress as she is rumored to be the next Bond girl!

Directed by Sam Mendes and starring Daniel Craig as Bond, James Bond, the next 007 movie does not have a release date yet and neither camp has confirmed that the Indian actress will take on the coveted role as Bond’s main squeeze.

But we’re sure fans across the globe are happy to hear that the beauty might show up on the silver screen wearing a sexy bikini sooner than they think!

And with stars like Ursula Andress, Britt Ekland, Maud Adams, Denise Richards, Eva Green, Halle Berry, and Olga Kurylenko as former Bond girls, Freida sure has some big shoes to fill!

While we’re not sure what boyfriend Dev has to say about all this, we can only imagine that he is proud of his successful girlfriend! Even if she will be seen kissing hottie Daniel Craig in front of the whole world!
