This popular actor was born on September 28, 1983 in Mumbai, India. He belongs to the fourth generation of the famous Kapoor family. His parents are the popular actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh.

Before he became an actor, he studied acting at The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York. And before making his acting debut in films, he worked as an assistant director.

In 2007 he finally made his Bollywood debut in Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s "Saawariya." The film also starred fellow newcomer Sonam Kapoor. Unfortunately the film did not do well in the box office but it did garner him a lot of attention.

Last year the actor was named "the sexiest man alive" by People magazine India and shared the title with Katrina Kaif, named sexiest woman. The two were rumored to have fallen in love while shooting their movie "Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani," especially since this celeb had just broken up with his girlfriend Deepika Padukone.

This famous B-town actor was recently in the U.S. shooting his new movie "Anjaana Anjaani" with Priyanka Chopra. DH! caught up with him while he was catching a basketball game in New York City and he told us "New York is the most amazing city. You can do anything here. I have a bunch of friends who live here with me, because I am in the movie line I watch movies, Broadway shows, and there are great places to eat, to party, and then you have the Yankees games, so much to do you can spend twenty years of your life here and still feel like you haven't done much."
