Bollywood is eagerly awaiting the release of Katrina Kaif’s next item song, Chikni Chameli which will be seen in Karan Johar’s remake, Agneepath. 

The sneak peak was revealed onto a poster format a few weeks ago, and we hear the item song has already been filmed. While we think the item song has an element of Munni Badnam Hui, insiders say, Chikni Chameli has been compared to the song, Mungda which was picturised on yesteryear's item girl Helen.

Sources say, ‘Katrina, who looks ravishing to say the least, has three costume changes in the song. One of them, the yellow saree and the chequered choli, which is exactly the same as what Helen wore for her track, Mungda.’

We wonder how, Helen’s daughter in law and famous item girl, Malaika Arora Khan feels about another girl copying her mother in law's item girl looks?

Taking a look back at Helen’s career, she became the queen of item songs in the 70’s. Her item songs, Piya Tu Ab To Aaja, Yeh Mera Dil to name a few are still performed on stage by many of today’s actresses.
