Say hello to B-town’s latest item girl, Chikni Chameli! Yesterday we told you about Katrina Kaif doing her third item song in Karan Johar’s remake, Agneepath and today we can confirm the news to you.

Here’s what KJo confirmed via twitter, ‘Katrina Kaif is doing a full on item song in Agneepath, its a total swinging number called Chikni Chameli, we shoot it in a week!’

So after months of speculation, Katrina has bagged yet another item song in her kitty, who’s surprised?
However, the real question is can Chikni Chameli beat Shelia Ki Jawani? More so, Katrina’s item song will also be compared to the original item song, Ali Baba which was picturised on Archana Puran Singh.

The new Agneepath is being directed by debutant Karan Malhotra and is set for release, 26th January 26 2012.
