Saif Ali Khan isn't going to jail but now the media and fans will have a different idea of what the actor is really like.

After assaulting someone yesterday who told Saif and his restaurant guests Kareena and Karishma Kapoor that they were being too noisy, Saif was arrested and held in jail for some time.

Now we have learned that the actor has been granted bail and won't be facing any jail time, but what did the Agent Vinod star have to say about the events?

"There was an ugly incident last night where my friends and the ladies with us were abused and I was assaulted. I was hit and I defended myself. I have been to the police station to answer the requirements of law as I am a law-abiding citizen. I have also filed a complaint about what happened last night and I am confident justice will be done."

So apparently it wasn't Saif's fault at all, but he did still beat up someone at the restaurant and I'm not sure that all the abuse was necessary.

Saif is an actor and should realize that the way he acts in public will be watched by everyone especially his loyal fans.

We'll have to wait and see what happens I suppose!
