Aamir Khan still has his fans on edge as the actor and producer has yet to choose an item girl for his upcoming home production Delhi Belly. So what is taking him so long? We hear Deepika, Katrina, and Malaika Arora-Khan are on the short list but the three actresses have a tight schedule in the coming months and may not have the time for Aamir.

Rumor has it Aamir actually had Katrina as his first choice but Kat has refused the project. Ms. Sheila Ki Jiwani can't be doing item song after item song, she's got to make films to right? Well ever since producers saw Katrina as Sheila they seem to all want her for their own item songs.

We think Deepika and Munni also known as Malaika Arora-Khan will also be great fits for this role but we're not sure Aamir agrees. Other members of the crew for the film have thrown around names like Sonakshi Sinha, Anushka Sharma and Kareena Kapoor. While Anushka and Sonakhshi may be too young to be cast in an item number, Kareena may be experienced enough for the role. Aamir and Kareena obviously know each other's personalities already as they worked on the hit film 3 Idiots together.

Aamir is known for being a perfectionist in our industry which is most likely why he's taking so long to choose an item girl that is good enough to be paired up with his nephew Imran Khan. But us fans would like the actor to hurry up and make a choice so we can get excited for the film's item song!
